BEP20 and AVAXC and ARBITRUM and CELO and ERC20 and KAVAEVM and POLYGON and PLASMA and KAIA and BERA and HYPEREVM and MANTLE and MONAD use one 0x address: only the wallet shows the network.

Watch out for TON: a USDT deposit on that network needs a MEMO, unlike the other networks.

USDT mistakes that cost money

Choosing the network by price alone. The receiving side decides: an exchange that lists only TRC20 deposits will not credit USDT sent on BEP20, even though both are “USDT”.
Keeping no TRX, ETH, BNB or SOL in the wallet. USDT never pays its own gas; without the network coin the wallet cannot send the USDT at all.
Trusting a token named USDT that appeared in the wallet unasked. Fake tokens are airdropped all the time; compare the contract with the one in the table below.

What to know about Tether

USDT is a dollar token issued by Tether on more than a dozen blockchains at once. Each issue is a separate contract with its own address, its own fees and its own wallets; one USDT on TRON and one on Ethereum are worth the same, but cannot be moved between the chains without a swap or a bridge. TRON carries most of the USDT used for payments and P2P trading, Ethereum is where DeFi liquidity sits, and BNB Smart Chain, Solana and TON are the cheap alternatives. Tether can freeze individual addresses at the request of law enforcement — a property of the token itself, whichever service you use. Does USDT on TON need a memo?

When you send USDT on TON to KOT.CASH, a memo is shown with the deposit address and must be included. Receiving USDT on TON in your own wallet needs no memo.
