Exchange Internet Computer (ICP) to USDT

An NNS neuron screen can show stake, maturity and state information alongside ICP values. Start an exchange calculation from the actual transferable ledger balance, not their combined display.

Which value could fund an ICP payment now?

Displayed value or stateIts meaning to establishWhy it cannot be added blindly
Liquid ICP ledger balanceICP actually held in the chosen sending accountStill needs the wallet’s actual transfer requirements
Neuron stakeICP locked in a governance neuronA stake figure is not a completed payment balance
MaturityVoting-reward maturity recorded for the neuronIt is not directly transferable liquid ICP
Staked maturityA separate maturity state linked to the stakeDo not count it again as both maturity and spendable ICP
Dissolved or ready-to-disburse stateA governance state that permits a next stepIt does not by itself establish a resulting credit to your sending account
These rows distinguish states and roles; they do not calculate a withdrawal return or recommend changing a neuron.

Maturity is not simply another wallet account you can send from

The current ICP governance documentation states that maturity accumulated from voting rewards is not transferable and is not immediately liquid. The glossary separately describes neuron stake and its governance account. Treat those records as part of the neuron’s state, not as automatically available ICP in an ordinary payment account.

If your task includes obtaining liquid ICP from a neuron-related process, establish that task separately through the current NNS guidance. A displayed maturity value or governance status does not prove that the intended sending account has received a spendable credit. This exchange page does not set a dissolve delay, choose a reward operation or initiate a disbursement.

Use a fundable amount rather than a future expectation

  1. Open the actual sending account’s ICP balance

Choose the ledger account you will use for the deposit and inspect what the wallet permits it to send. A dashboard total spanning neurons and accounts is not the same observation. If several accounts or subaccounts exist, keep the intended one explicit.

  2. Keep any separate neuron action and its outcome distinct

If you independently choose a neuron operation, verify its result before treating it as exchange funding. Retain a preparation reference when relevant, then inspect the account that should receive the resulting ICP. Do not interpret a timer, pending request or ready status as a completed transfer to that account.

  3. Refresh the exchange only when the payment source is ready

Read the current ICP deposit instruction, applicable limits and USDT result for the amount you can actually send. An earlier quote does not control a governance process or shorten its duration. Do not count estimated future rewards as an additional deposit amount.

Explain the state you observed

Distinguish an unavailable source from a missing payout
If the ICP has not left the sending account, a USDT receiving wallet cannot prove the cause of the preparation issue. State whether the question concerns a neuron state, an account credit or an actual exchange deposit.
Keep three records traceable
Use the relevant neuron or preparation record, the actual ICP deposit transaction and the later USDT payout as separate references. A successful event in one category does not identify an event in another. Provide only the references needed for the particular question.
Avoid changing governance settings just to retry an exchange
An unexplained change to a neuron is not a diagnostic payment step. Resolve the account and amount through the supported NNS or wallet process, and clarify current order instructions with support if necessary. Keep signing keys and recovery material private.

Questions about neuron values and ICP funding

Can I send the displayed maturity as an ICP deposit?
Maturity is not directly transferable liquid ICP. Establish the actual balance available in the intended ledger account before planning the exchange payment.
Does a ready-to-disburse status prove my wallet is credited?
It describes a governance state. Verify the relevant operation’s result and the receiving ledger account rather than treating the status as a completed account credit.
Does an exchange quote shorten a neuron process?
It does not control the governance operation. Obtain a current quote when the payment source is actually available and keep preparation separate from funding.
