What to know about Solana
Solana produces a slot roughly every 400 milliseconds and finalises transactions in a few seconds, which makes SOL one of the fastest coins to deposit. Fees are a fraction of a cent, plus an optional priority fee that wallets add when the network is busy. Every Solana account must hold a small rent-exempt balance, a little under 0.001 SOL for a plain wallet, so a wallet can never be emptied to exactly zero and still stay open. Tokens on Solana live in separate token accounts derived from your main address, which is why wallets sometimes show two different addresses. For receiving SOL itself, always use the main wallet address that Phantom or Solflare shows on the receive screen.

Pasting a token account address instead of the main wallet address. Native SOL sent to a token account is hard to recover; copy the address from the wallet's receive screen.
Trying to send the entire balance. The wallet must keep the rent-exempt minimum and the fee, so leave a few thousandths of a SOL.
Assuming a 0x address works. Solana addresses are base58 strings of 32โ44 characters and are case-sensitive.
