What to know about Sui
Sui is a layer-1 chain built around the Move language, where every asset is an object with its own ID rather than a balance in a contract. Simple transfers that touch only the sender's own objects skip global ordering, so payments usually finalise in well under a second. Gas is paid in SUI, and part of each fee goes to a storage fund that pays for data kept on chain. A Sui address is 0x followed by 64 hexadecimal characters, which makes it easy to tell apart from an Ethereum address (40 characters) but not from an Aptos address, which has exactly the same format. The provider pays out SUI on the Sui network; a BEP20 version exists but is a different token.
