The order expected USDT but you sent USDC, or TRX instead of USDT TRC20. The transfer succeeded, yet the order still waits for payment.
Why the address accepted it
On smart-contract networks one address receives the native coin and every token of that network. The blockchain does not check what the recipient expects. An order, however, tracks one asset on one network, so another asset is not counted as payment. See native coin vs token.
What to do
- Check the asset and token contract on the explorer.
- Do not top up with the right coin until you know the order status.
- Contact support with the order number, hash, network, expected and sent asset and amount. Whether the asset can be processed or returned depends on the network, provider and asset and is not guaranteed; a network fee is deducted.
- If you meant to swap USDC, create an order on the USDC → USDT page.
Next time
Read the asset and network on the wallet confirmation screen, not just the amount.
Same name, different contract
A token called USDT may be a fake or a bridged version with another contract. Orders count only the official contract on the selected network; issuers publish their contract addresses (Tether's supported protocols, Circle's USDC addresses).
Before sending, check that the ticker on the wallet confirmation screen matches the order, the network matches, the token contract is official, and you are sending the token rather than the network's native coin. A blockchain transfer cannot be cancelled once signed.
FAQ
Why does the order ignore USDC with the right amount?
It tracks a specific asset on a specific network; other assets are not counted as payment.
Can the wrong coin be returned?
Support reviews it by order number and hash; the outcome is not guaranteed.
