What to know about Starknet
Starknet is a validity rollup that runs programs written in Cairo rather than Solidity, and every account on it is a smart contract. A new Starknet account can receive tokens before it is deployed, but it has to be deployed — which the wallet does on the first outgoing transaction, for a fee — before it can send. STRK pays gas on Starknet alongside ETH and is used for staking. The provider lists STRK on Starknet and as an ERC20 token on Ethereum. Starknet addresses are 0x followed by up to 64 hex characters, with leading zeros sometimes trimmed, so they look longer than Ethereum's; the Starknet confirmation count in the table is very high because of the way the provider tracks the rollup.
