What to know about Sei
Sei started as a Cosmos chain for trading and added a parallelised EVM in its V2 upgrade, so every Sei account has two addresses: a Cosmos-style sei1… address and a 0x address on the EVM side. The network has since moved toward EVM-only operation, and the provider reflects that: the Cosmos-side SEI network is closed, while Sei EVM is open for both deposits and payouts. In practice this means a SEI swap works like any EVM coin — a 0x address in MetaMask or Rabby with the Sei network added — with blocks around 400 milliseconds apart and near-instant finality. The provider also lists USDC on Sei EVM, which is handy if you move between SEI and stablecoins.

Pasting a sei1… address. The provider pays SEI to the EVM (0x) side only; switch your wallet to the EVM address.
Sending SEI from an exchange that still withdraws on the Cosmos side. Pick the Sei EVM network in the withdrawal form, or the deposit will not be detected.
Assuming the 0x address on Sei EVM is the same network as Ethereum. Add the Sei network in the wallet to see the balance.
