To swap BTC to SOL, send Bitcoin from any wallet to a swap order and receive native SOL at your Phantom, Solflare or Backpack address. On KOT.CASH you do it on the BTC to SOL page: the widget shows how much SOL you get before you send, and a standard swap needs no account. The Solana side takes seconds. Nearly all the waiting โ€” and nearly all the cost you control โ€” is on the Bitcoin side, so that is where this guide spends most of its time.

What 0.01 BTC is worth in SOL

At about $82,000 per BTC and $105 per SOL, 1 BTC is about 780 SOL, 0.01 BTC about 7.8 SOL and 0.1 BTC about 78 SOL. The quote in the widget already includes the 1% float-rate fee (1.5% fixed) and the Solana payout fee, which is tiny. Check the live table on the pair page or the crypto converter for today's numbers.

Getting the Bitcoin side right

The swap starts counting once your BTC transaction has 1โ€“2 confirmations, which the provider requires for Bitcoin deposits. How quickly you get them depends on the fee rate you set in your wallet. A rate that matches the next-block estimate on a mempool explorer usually confirms within one or two blocks; a rate well below it can wait for hours.

  • Use your wallet's fee estimate or check mempool.space; avoid the absolute minimum when you are in a hurry.
  • Enable Replace-By-Fee if your wallet supports it, so you can raise the fee if the transaction gets stuck. The order keeps watching the same deposit address.
  • Do not send a second transaction to the same deposit address if the first is slow; it will not merge with the order.
  • Fewer inputs, lower fee. A wallet that spends many small coins pays more. The Bitcoin fee calculator shows the size and cost of your transaction.
  • Exchange withdrawals often batch and can take longer to broadcast. Make sure the amount after the exchange's fee equals the order amount.

Receiving SOL in Phantom or Solflare

Copy your Solana address from the wallet โ€” base58, 32 to 44 characters โ€” and paste it into the order. Native SOL does not need a token account, so any Solana wallet address can receive it. Phantom shows incoming SOL within seconds of the payout. If you plan to stake, you can do it right away from the wallet; staked SOL becomes liquid again only at the end of an epoch after you deactivate it, so keep some SOL unstaked for fees.

One thing to avoid: do not paste the address of a token account or a program. If you are unsure, use the main address shown on the wallet's receive screen.

Step by step and timing

  1. Open BTC to SOL, enter the BTC amount and check the SOL you will receive.
  2. Paste your Solana address and create the order.
  3. Send exactly the shown BTC amount with a reasonable fee rate.
  4. Wait for 1โ€“2 Bitcoin confirmations โ€” typically 10โ€“30 minutes.
  5. SOL is paid out; Solana confirms it in seconds. The hash is on the order page.

In total, BTC to SOL usually takes 15โ€“40 minutes, almost all of it Bitcoin block time.

Fees and minimum on both sides

On the Bitcoin side you pay the miner fee for your deposit transaction, which depends on its size in virtual bytes and the fee rate. A typical single-input payment from a native SegWit wallet is about 141 vB; at 5 sat/vB that is 705 sats, roughly $0.60 at $82,000 per BTC. A wallet that combines many small coins pays more. The Bitcoin fee calculator gives the exact number for your inputs.

The Solana payout is cheap: the provider's payout fee for BTC to SOL on 20 October 2026 was 0.001 SOL, about ten cents, and the minimum deposit was 0.000024 BTC, around two dollars. The service fee is 1% on the float rate or 1.5% fixed. For a 0.01 BTC swap that means about $8 of service fee and ten cents of payout fee, plus your own Bitcoin miner fee.

Because Bitcoin confirmations take minutes, the float and fixed rates behave differently here. With float, the SOL amount follows the market until your deposit is processed; with fixed, it is locked for the payment window. In a fast-moving market, the extra 0.5% of the fixed rate buys certainty โ€” see fixed vs floating rate.

Alternatives

If your money is already in stablecoins, USDT to SOL skips the Bitcoin wait entirely: USDT on TRON, BNB Smart Chain or Solana confirms in a minute or two. Going the other way, SOL to BTC sends native Bitcoin to your own wallet. Exchange accounts offer the same trade with an extra deposit, trade and withdrawal; for small and medium amounts the withdrawal fee usually makes them dearer, for large amounts on a low-fee tier sometimes cheaper.

Standard swaps on KOT.CASH need no documents. The liquidity provider runs AML checks and may, in some cases, ask about the source of funds before completing an order.
