What to know about Ravencoin
Ravencoin combines a native Proof-of-Work coin with facilities for issuing named assets. Both may appear in the same wallet, but an issued asset is not a substitute for RVN when an exchange asks for the coin. The project also allows asset metadata to reference IPFS, which describes the issued asset rather than an exchange destination. Before sending, inspect the selected balance and the transaction type. If you use Ravencoin Core, check that its view has synchronized with the network before diagnosing an apparently missing receipt. A custom asset visible in an application demonstrates neither that the exchange accepts it nor that its quantity is a spendable RVN balance.

Does support for Ravencoin mean support for every issued asset?
Wallet software can provide separate operations for RVN and custom assets. That capability does not establish an exchange listing. Verify the exact asset requested by the deposit route before choosing which balance to send.
Do I need to issue an asset before exchanging RVN?
Issuing assets is a separate Ravencoin function. A route requesting the native coin is not an asset-creation instruction. Do not replace the recipient from your exchange instruction with an issuance or burn destination described elsewhere in project material.
Why might Core show a different history from the explorer?
The Core documentation explains that the client synchronizes transaction history. Check synchronization status and compare the transaction identifier on the correct network before assuming a payment failed. A local display alone is insufficient reason to send the amount again.
