What to know about Jupiter
Jupiter uses several product-specific assets, so the word Jupiter on a screen is not enough to identify a deposit. JUP is the Solana governance token; the official token page separately lists JLP and JupSOL. The latter represents SOL staked with the Jupiter validator, not a governance-token balance. JUP committed to governance staking is also different from freely transferable JUP in a wallet. The staking guide requires an unstaking process before claiming tokens back; inspect its current conditions rather than using an old cooldown figure. Before an exchange transfer, establish both the correct mint and the available wallet amount. Completing a vote, starting unstaking and receiving claimed tokens are separate events that should not be collapsed into one status.
