What to know about GMX
GMX is a decentralised perpetuals exchange that runs on Arbitrum and Avalanche, and the GMX token is native to both deployments — that is why the provider lists two networks for it and no Ethereum version. Staking GMX in the protocol earns a share of trading fees, plus escrowed GMX (esGMX) that cannot be transferred and has to be vested to become GMX. Liquidity providers hold GM or GLV tokens, which are pool shares, not GMX. Gas is ETH on Arbitrum and AVAX on Avalanche, and both networks use 0x addresses, so the network you pick has to match where the tokens actually are.
