Swap SUI to USDT on BNB Chain, Solana, Ethereum or TRON: payout fees from 0.15 to 1.3 USDT, the 30 SUI minimum, one Sui confirmation and gas coin pitfalls.

To swap SUI to USDT, open the swap widget, choose the network where you want the USDT, paste that address and send SUI from your Sui wallet. On 21 October 2026 the minimum was about 29.6 SUI (roughly $30 at $1.01), the provider credited Sui deposits after one confirmation, and the payout fee depended on the USDT network: 0.15 USDT on BNB Chain, 0.5 on Solana, 0.8 on Ethereum and 1.3 on TRON. Processing was quoted at 1โ€“2 minutes, so this is one of the quickest routes on the site.

Why one confirmation is enough on Sui

Sui does not use the 'wait N blocks' model. Transactions are ordered by validators through a consensus protocol and grouped into checkpoints; once a transaction is in a certified checkpoint, it is final โ€” there is no chain reorganisation that could undo it. Finality takes well under a second in normal conditions. That is why the provider can credit after one confirmation and the deposit side of this swap takes seconds.

Payout fee by network

The fee is a fixed amount of USDT per payout, so its weight depends on the size of your swap. At the minimum of about $30:

Solana0.5 USDT1.7%0.1%
Ethereum (ERC20)0.8 USDT2.7%0.16%
TRON (TRC20)1.3 USDT4.3%0.26%

Pick the network the money goes to next. If you will deposit to an exchange, check its USDT deposit page for supported networks. If you will hold USDT yourself, BNB Chain or Solana are cheap both to receive and later to move. The stablecoin fee comparison compares the recurring cost of each network.

Sending SUI: gas coins and the 'send max' trap

On Sui, coins are objects. Your balance of SUI may be split across several coin objects, and one of them is used as the gas coin for each transaction. Wallets like Slush, Phantom and Suiet merge and split coins automatically, but sending your entire balance requires the wallet to pay gas from the same coins it is sending. Use the wallet's Max button, which reserves gas, instead of typing the full balance by hand.

  • A simple SUI transfer costs a fraction of a cent in gas; storage rebates can make some operations nearly free.
  • Staked SUI is a separate object and is not spendable until you unstake it; unstaked SUI becomes available at the next epoch change (epochs last about 24 hours).
  • Tokens other than SUI (for example USDC on Sui) are not SUI. Create a separate order for them if supported.

Step by step

  1. Choose SUI to send and USDT on your preferred network to receive. Enter the amount.
  2. Paste the USDT address: Tโ€ฆ for TRON, 0xโ€ฆ for BNB Chain or Ethereum, base58 for Solana.
  3. Create the order. Send SUI from your wallet to the 66-character 0x deposit address shown.
  4. The deposit is final within a second and credited after one confirmation.
  5. The USDT payout arrives in about 1โ€“2 minutes; the order page shows its hash.

If you are coming from an exchange

Withdraw SUI with the network named Sui. Some exchanges also list SUI tokens bridged to other chains; those are not native SUI and would not reach the order. Check the withdrawal fee: exchanges often charge a fixed amount of SUI, and the arriving amount must still be at least the order amount.

Float or fixed on a fast route

Because the deposit is final in about a second and processing takes a minute or two, the market has little time to move between your send and the rate calculation. Float (1%) is the cheaper default. Fixed (1.5%) makes sense mainly when you send from an exchange whose withdrawal may take a while to be broadcast.

Swap versus selling on an exchange

On an exchange you deposit SUI, sell for USDT on the order book and withdraw USDT, paying a trading fee and a withdrawal fee that is often 1 USDT on TRC20 and sometimes more on Ethereum. For amounts in the low hundreds, a single swap paying out on BNB Chain costs about 1.15% all in; an exchange route can be cheaper on large amounts if you already have an account and low trading fees. The swap fee calculator compares both with your numbers.

Before your first swap from a new wallet, send a small amount once to learn how the wallet handles gas and coin objects. On Sui that test costs almost nothing, and it shows you where the transaction digest appears so you can quote it if you ever need support. The digest is a base58 string, not a 0x hash, and it is what Sui explorers such as Suiscan and SuiVision search by.

FAQ

How many confirmations does a SUI deposit need?

One. Sui transactions are final within a second once included in a checkpoint.

What is the minimum for SUI to USDT?

About 29.6 SUI (roughly $30) on 21 October 2026.

Which USDT network has the lowest payout fee?

BNB Chain at 0.15 USDT; Solana 0.5, Ethereum 0.8, TRON 1.3 USDT (21.10.2026).

Why can't my wallet send my whole SUI balance?

It needs part of the SUI for gas. Use the Max button so the wallet reserves the fee.

Can I swap staked SUI?

Not directly. Unstake first; the SUI becomes spendable after the epoch change, roughly a day.
