An ETH payment for a swap appears in your wallet but has not appeared among included transactions. Several entries precede it, and pressing “speed up” added another record. The number of rows in a wallet history does not establish execution order. First compare the sender, network and nonce of each entry.
Consider the queue of one ordinary account
The nonce of an ordinary Ethereum transaction specifies its position in the sender’s sequence. This article considers a simple externally owned account without special authorization mechanisms. Do not combine different networks, senders, contract-wallet operations or UserOperation counters in one list. Matching numbers in those contexts do not describe a shared queue.
The check needs the account’s next nonce from a selected chain state. This is neither the number of wallet entries nor an arbitrary value labelled pending. Record the network, address and state associated with the value. The local tool does not contact a node or choose the observation point for you.
| Record label | Nonce | What this supplied list establishes |
|---|---|---|
| OLD | 8 | Below the supplied next nonce; this does not prove that OLD itself was included |
| A and A2 | 10 | Two alternatives for one sequence position, rather than two consecutive payments |
| No record | 11 | A gap in the supplied list before the target payment |
| PAY, the target payment | 12 | This record does not fill the preceding position 11 |
| C | 13 | A later position; it does not remove the gap at 11 either |
OLD, A, A2, PAY and C are fictional labels. They are short names for the teaching form, not transaction hashes. The table is not a snapshot of an actual wallet or KOT.CASH swap.
A repeated nonce and a new position are different
Geth documentation notes that multiple transaction alternatives may be associated with the same account and nonce. Their gas parameters or contents can differ, for example. Accordingly, A and A2 are grouped into a single position 10. The form does not choose which alternative a node will accept or which will appear in the chain.
Adding another row is not enough. Adding A3 with nonce 10 leaves the gap at 11 unchanged. Adding B with nonce 11 gives the list consecutive positions 10, 11, 12 and 13. However, this remains a numerical sequence check. The balance, acceptable fees and other inclusion conditions have not been checked.
A missing row does not establish a missing network transaction
A wallet, explorer and individual node may expose different sets of known records. The tool sees only the list you paste. “11 is not represented” means that these supplied data have a gap. It does not prove that a transaction with this nonce exists nowhere. First clarify the history with the data provider and check the state of the relevant account.
What the check actually returns
- Record groups
- Equal nonces are grouped together and labels are sorted. Records below the supplied next value are listed separately.
- Contiguous prefix
- Represented positions starting at the supplied next nonce and ending before the first missing value. This is not a list guaranteed to be processed.
- Gaps before the target
- Ranges of unrepresented values between the starting point and the selected record’s nonce. A large range is not expanded into millions of rows.
- Target below the starting point
- The gap check before this target does not apply. Its position alone does not confirm inclusion of that particular alternative.
Suppose the supplied next nonce changes from 10 to 13. PAY, with nonce 12, is now below the starting point. This does not establish that PAY succeeded. Another alternative could have occupied its position. For the selected hash, obtain inclusion and execution information from the relevant network, then compare it with the requirements of the particular swap.
Prepare a support request that can be checked
Collect the network, sender address, target transaction hash, its nonce and the observation point used for the account state. Identify which earlier positions still require investigation and whether the target nonce has multiple alternatives. This turns “the swap is stuck” into a sequence that can be examined, rather than another payment made on a guess.
The tool neither speeds up nor cancels transactions. It helps organize a copy of the history before further wallet and swap-status checks. Use the KOT.CASH ETH guide for the general exchange workflow, and treat this form’s result as an inspection of supplied nonce values. It provides no arrival-time promise or automatic recognition of a payment.
Inspect one sender’s nonce list
A teaching copy of ordinary transactions from one externally owned account. Labels are not hashes; use one network and consistent state. Up to 50 rows, decimal nonces 0–1000000000000. Grouping, a contiguous prefix and gaps in the supplied list only. No network, signatures, gas, balance, confirmations, replacement selection or wallet actions. EIP-7702, UserOperation and contract wallets excluded. The calculation runs on your device; nothing you enter is sent anywhere.
