How the schedule is built
The TGE share unlocks on day one. During the cliff nothing unlocks. After it, the remaining tokens unlock in equal monthly amounts over the vesting period, starting one month after the cliff ends. So '10% at TGE, 12-month cliff, 24 months linear' on a 1,000,000-token allocation means 100,000 at TGE, nothing for a year, then 37,500 a month from month 13 to month 36.
Projects word their terms differently. Some release the accumulated cliff months in one lump when the cliff ends, some vest daily or per block, and some count the vesting period including the cliff. Read the published terms and adjust the inputs โ for example, a '36-month vesting with a 12-month cliff' including the cliff is 12 + 24 here.

- Supply pressure: a large unlock relative to the circulating supply can add sellers. Compare the unlock with daily trading volume, not only with total supply.
- Calendar: unlock dates are public and often priced in early; the table gives you the dates to watch.
- Your own allocation: if you receive vested tokens (as an employee, contributor or airdrop recipient), the schedule shows when you can plan to sell, swap or stake them โ and when a tax event may occur in your country.
Reading the results
The table lists only months with an unlock plus the final month. 'Unlocked by this date' sums every unlock on or before the date you pick. If you enter the total supply, the last column shows the cumulative unlocked amount as a share of it โ useful for comparing a schedule against a token's market cap. The CSV export opens in Excel or Google Sheets.
Frequently asked questions
+What is a cliff?
A period after TGE during which nothing vests. At its end linear vesting starts (or, in some schedules, the accumulated amount unlocks at once).
+What does TGE mean?
Token generation event: the moment the token is created and usually starts trading. Unlock schedules count from it.
+Can I model daily vesting?
Monthly steps are a close approximation for planning; the cumulative amount by any month-end is the same as with daily vesting over the same period.
+Does a big unlock always crash the price?
No. It depends on who receives the tokens, whether they sell, the market's liquidity and how much was already expected. The schedule only shows the supply side.
+Is the CSV export private?
Yes. The file is generated in your browser; nothing is uploaded.
